South Korean police reported on Friday that nine people will face various charges in the case of Boys Over Flowers’ actress Jang Ja-yeon, 26, who committed suicide after allegedly being forced to provide sexual favors to advance her career. According to the AFP three of the nine are entertainment agency officials, two are television program-makers, three are bankers and one is a businessman.

According to police South Korean actress Woo Seung-yeon was found dead on Monday in her home in southern Seoul. The actress’ body and suicide note were discovered by her live-in friend. The note said, “I love my family. I’m so sorry to leave early.” Family and friends suspect Woo was under severe stress after recently failing to get new acting roles.

Over the past year Korea has witness several entertainment celebrities commiting suicide including actress Choi Jin-sil, Jang Ja-yeon and actor Ahn Jae-hwan.

ABS-CBN News is reporting Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo married in a private wedding ceremony with family and close friends early Tuesday morning somewhere in southern Luzon. The media have speculated for months the couple would tie the knot on May 2nd. Congrats to the newlyweds!

Chinese-Japanese actor Abe Tsuyoshi announced at a press conference today that he recently married Chinese actress Shi Ke. Tsuyoshi, who played Mimasaka in Hana Yori Dango, and Shi Ke met in the summer of 2006 on the set of Incomplete Lovers. The couple dated a little over two and a half years before tying the knot. Congrats!
