Starring Choi Min-shik Himalaya, Where The Wind Dwells follows a Korean company director as he takes the remains of a Nepalese migrant worker to his family in the Himalayas.

Himalaya premiered last fall at the 12th Pusan (Busan) International Film Festival and is scheduled to compete at the Karlovivary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic this July. The film releases in theatres June 11th.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker is said to have his heart set on casting Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith as a young Buddha in his upcoming epic film with the same title. The film will be in English and written by Oscar winner David Ward. A source close to the project said Gowariker is expected to fly out and meet with the father and son soon.

According to VietNamNet, Dam Vinh Hung admits he can’t stop shopping.

“Shopping really has become an addiction for me. I don’t smoke cigarettes or drink, so shopping is the way I release stress. I never keep an exact account of how much money I spend on my clothes. I sometimes buy nothing for a month but on occasions like birthdays, festivals and the Tet (Lunar New Year), I indulge myself.”

Nicknamed Mr. Dam the Vietnamese singer readily acknowledges he spends an absorbent amount of time and money shopping for name brand clothes, belts, shoes and scarves. He owns more than 400 pairs of shoes. No word if or when he plans to seek help. Mr. Dam did say, “Some day I will open an auction and give the money to the poor.”

…at least he’s honest (unlike my sister lol).
