For all you BoA fans listen up! The singer will release a full-length album in Korea on 25th August. SM Entertainment released the following statement:

“2010 is the 10th debut anniversary for BoA. She will release a new album and meet with fans after 5 years since her Girls On Top album. The comeback date will be symbolic 25th August.”

BoA released her seventh Japanese album Identity on February 10th.

F.cuz revealed they are prepping for their new album set to release next month. A rep announced,

“Recently the members are working on theirnew album and has been busy going various schedules. Their new song will be a trendy electronic song. As compared to the bright and cute image for ‘Jiggy’, their new song will have a sophisticated and strong feel. The boys will be back as ‘kanji’ guys.”

I like the MASCULINE look. Enough of this eyeliner stuff.

Rain’s peeps announced last week the singer will release a special album consisting of four to five tracks in April. A full-length album is coming this October. A rep from J. Tunes said,

“Recording has already been completed for some songs and we are still in the process of collecting songs. The title song will only be decided after we have finished recording all the songs.”

Se7en is returning to the kpop scene with a new album this spring. No actual release date has been set. A rep for SM Entertainment said,

“The actual date of comeback will be decided upon after we consider the format of the album and its musical quality. We are expecting a comeback around May or June. So far, only 50% of the album has been recorded; however, it won’t take much longer.”

On February 27th 2PM, JYP Entertainment reps and representatives of Korean and international 2PM fan clubs met in Seoul to discuss the sudden dismissal of Park Jaebum and the future of the kpop group. Folks, I’m not gonna waste your time with the minute-by-minute details. In a nutshell, the remaining 2PM members agreed with JYP to say adieu to Jay on January 6th.

My take: Folks, do you honestly (I mean deep, deep down in your heart) believe the remaining six guys in the kpop group are going against their bread and butter?!? Junsu, Junho, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Chansung are under contract. They do and say what they are told by upper management.  If JYP tells them to jump the group’s only response is, ‘How high?’. I cannot think of a single legitimate reason why Jaeboem was fired. Unless he murdered, raped or turned out to be some freakin’ terrorist Jay should be reinstated. Period. End of discussion.

Btw, at the meeting JYPE made clear Jay will not be required to pay damages to the company despite the termination of his contract. *rolls eyes* Oh goody Mr. Park Jin Young. You just wait and see how this absurd dismissal affects your 2010 profits. To be continued….

A rep for Gatorade officially confirmed Tiger is no longer a member of the Gatorade family.

“I can confirm that we no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship.”

In early December Gatorade said the decision to ax Tiger-branded drinks was made BEFORE the scandal broke. Folks, I knew that was a bold-face lie.

Tiger’s peeps released the below statement.

“Tiger’s agent released the following statement: “We have been in discussions with Gatorade, and while we are disappointed they have decided to not continue with Tiger in their marketing plans, we appreciate their continued involvement with Tiger through his foundation.”

Hmm… I wonder if humping all those white women was worth losing hundreds of millions of dollars??? I think not.

Folks, it’s one thing to call a flick terrible but it’s another thing when someone says the filmmaker must have been on narcotics when making the movie. Ouch.

“Teen Patti is the kind of film that makes you want to send everyone associated with it for a urine test so you can confirm whether they had drugs in their system while making this senseless movie. For two hours and twenty minutes I sat in stunned silence as the film unfolded, desperately trying to figure out how and why something like this was made.”

Teen Patti, starring Big B and Ben Kingsley, is a take off from the Hollywood movie 21. The film follows a university professor and his students’ decision to make a killing in Las Vegas casinos by counting cards. Teen Patti opens in theatres today. Go at your own risk. lol

As expected 2PM fans went completely off on JYP after the entertainment company announced Jay was terminated. Fans trashed the JYPE building, ripped up pictures and CDs and left chrysanthemum flowers at the entrance (Chrysanthemums = death in Korea).
