First Look: Derek Yee’s “Great Magician” Starring Tony Leung & Zhou Xun

Derek Yee released stills of his upcoming mystery film The Great Magician (Daai mo seut si), starring Tony Leung, Zhou Xun and Ching Wan Lau. The film’s plot summary and stills below.

Set in the early 20th century, the film tells the story of a magician who gets her childhood sweetheart back from a warlord.

According to Chinese Films, The Great Magician releases in theatres on December 22nd.
