jang dong gun 01 CNN Ranks South Koreas 20 Hottest Male Celebrities

Coming in at #1 is Jang Dong-Gun. Check out CNNGO.com’s complete hottest male celebs list below.

  1. Jang Dong-Gun
  2. Won Bin
  3. Bae Yong-joon
  4. Ju Jin-Mo
  5. Jo In-Sung
  6. Lee Jun-ki
  7. Daniel Henney
  8. Dennis Oh
  9. So Ji-sub
  10. Rain
  11. Yoon Sang-hyun
  12. Lee Min-ho
  13. Kim Hyun-Joong
  14. Kim Bum
  15. Jang Geun-suk
  16. Lee Seung-ki
  17. Choi Min-shik
  18. Song Seung-heon
  19. Kwon Sang-woo
  20. Ha Jung-woo

My take: Whoever made the list did a horrible job. I’m willing to bet $$ the person(s) compiling the list is/are not that familiar with Korean pop culture. For example, why would you include Daniel Henney and Dennis Oh on a list when they weren’t born nor do they live full-time in Korea?? In addition neither actors can fluently speak Korean. In my opinion Oh Ji Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Jang Hyuk and Cha Seung-Won should have been included. Period.

parkyongha wake1 So Ji Sub Breaks Down At Park Yong Has Memorial

So Ji Sub completely broke down at Park Yong Ha’s mortuary. SJS and Song Seung Heon were close friends to the late actor. Park was found hanging lifeless from a mobile phone charger cable at his home early Wednesday morning.

South Korea’s government needs to IMMEDIATELY address the mental health issues and high suicide rate combating its celebrities. According to the Korean National Police Agency, there were 14,579 suicides in 2009, up 18.8 percent from 12,270 in 2008. Since suicide is preventable, S. Korea must take a pro-active stance in destigmatizing mental illness and encouraging its citizens to seek treatment.

Below are just some of the many stars who came to pay their respects to Park Yong Ha.
