My take: Aaron Kwok should have taken the #1 spot. Period. Nick Tse is too low on the list. He should have been pushed further to the top as well. Didn’t know how foine Ekin Cheng was/is until I posted/saw these pics of the actor a while back.

We finally have a first look at Wilson Yip’s much-anticipated martial arts biopic Ip Man II, starring Donnie Yen & Sammo Hung. Movie summary below.
Ip Man 2 continues Ip Man’s story, focusing on his migration to Hong Kong and his attempts to propagate Wing Chun in the region. The film will also focus on a young Bruce Lee, prior to becoming one of Ip Man’s most famed disciples.

Cast attends the opening ceremony of “The Grand Master” in Guangdong
Finally, after much delay Wong Kar-Wai’s The Grand Master will begin shooting shortly. The film’s confirmed cast includes Tony Leung, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen.
The Grand Master centers on the relationship between Bruce Lee (Chang) and his master (Leung) during the 1950s. First day of production is set for December 12, 2009 at the Film Park studio and wraps up April 18, 2010.

Donnie Yen will star in Andrew Lau’s upcoming 2010 martial arts pic Fist of Fury: The Legend of Chen Zhen. The film tells the story of the fictional character made famous by Bruce Lee in the 1972 movie Fist of Fury. Shu Qi and Anthony Wong co-star.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Zhang Ziyi will star in and co-produce the upcoming film Snow Flower & The Secret Fan. Set in 19th century China, the film tells the story of the lifelong friendship of Lily and Snow Flower and their imprisonment by rigid cultural codes of conduct for women.

Rain’s agency J. Tune Entertainment confirmed today the singer/actor was offered the lead role in the Warner Bros. remake of Bruce Lee’s film Enter the Dragon. J. Tune stated Rain has not made a decision whether to take the role or decline. Details of the offer were not disclosed.
