At the 2008 MTV Asia Awards, Super Junior won the award for Favorite Artist of Korea on August 2nd 2008 in Malaysia where Siwon accepted the award on behalf of the group.

Actress and singer Karen Mok co-hosted the 2008 MTV Asia Awards at Genting Highlands, outside of Kuala Lumpur. The awards showcased the best in global and regional music yesterday (Aug 2). The star-studded line-up included the Pussycat Dolls, Lewis, OneRepublic, Panic at the Disco, Super Junior, The Click Five and Jabbawockeez. Super Junior won the award for Favorite Artist of Korea.

Karen Mok and Jay Chou won top honors at the Golden Melody Awards in Taiwan – Chinese pop’s equivalent of the Grammys. Mok won best Mandarin album for L!ve Is…Karen Mok and Chou won best song for Blue and White Porcelain. Chou was also named best composer.
