Kate Winslet and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were spotted filming scenes for a new L’Oreal TV commercial in Rome, Italy today (July 20). More pics from the shoot below.

UPDATE:

Aish, Kate Winslet and Lin Chiling were filming a commercial for luxury watch brand Longines’ DolceVita collection NOT for L’Oreal. Aish’s PR rep Archana Sadanand did not set the record straight until now. Why celebs rep’s “inconveniently” mislead the press is beyond me. It makes no sense. At any rate, pics of Lin Chiling on set below.

Sun Honglei and actress-model Lin Chi-Ling are featured on the July 2010 cover of Marie Claire (China) magazine. The two can be seen in the upcoming movie Welcome to Sha Ma Town.

Btw, Lin Chiling admitted in so many words that her acting was in part responsible for jdrama Moonlight Lovers‘ poor ratings. The actress-model shared with the media that she intends to make time to attend acting classes at the beginning of the year.

Not sure if Lin Chi-ling attended the Royal Ascot to take personal pics or watch the races. Btw, those pesky rumors of leaked nude pics “allegedly” featuring the supermodel are resurfacing again. This time around it’s Japanese fans claiming the woman in the pics is Lin. As always, Lin emphatically denied it’s her.

The good news first – Lin Chi-ling was named Taiwan’s FHM 100 World’s Sexiest Women for the fourth time.

The bad news – the supermodel’s debut jdrama ‘Moon Lovers‘, co-starring Takuya Kimura, is on its way out the door. The romance drama’s ratings are low…very low. It’s rumored Fuji Television has decided to end the show around the seventh or eighth episode instead of the usual ten or twelve for a drama series.

My take: I (or anyone for that matter) could have saved Fuji TV the sheer embarrassment not to mention wasted time and money spent on casting Lin Chi-ling. No offense, but her acting is terrible. Just look at her last flick Treasure Hunter.

Any lesson learned? A beautiful face is mutually exclusive to good acting chops.

Maybe it’s me but Lin Chi-ling and Takuya Kimura look somewhat uncomfortable with each other. I hope they have more chemistry in their upcoming jdrama Tsuki no Koibito ~Moon Lovers~.
